First, it’s been reappointed as the exclusive provider of transcription services for the Committee of Standards in Public Life.
Run by the Cabinet Office, the Committee was set up in 1994 to monitor standards of conduct among all holders of public office in the UK, including MPs, local councillors and senior officers working at local authorities.
The new contract runs from 1 September until the end of August 2008.
Meanwhile WordWave has also been reappointed to the Tape Transcription Panel, a pool of providers that transcribes hearings from the High Court, County Courts and Magistrates Courts across England and Wales.
WordWave has been a member of the Tape Transcription Panel since 1991. It is also a member of the Real-time Transcription Panel, which offers Crown Courts access to gold standard real-time court reporting services.
The new Tape Transcription Panel contract runs for one year, with an option to extend by a further six months.
